Bees are about 15 mm in size and are usually light brown in color. Bees are usually oval-yellow creatures with brown stripes. Although the body color of bees varies between species and some bees have black bodies, all bees have dark to light spectrums. These dark and light bands target bee survival: Unlike other species that hide when predators are detected, those with light-colored bodies and the ability to bite act as a warning to predators or honey thieves.
Bees Behavior
Bees are social organisms and live in colonies. However, they show violent behavior within the colonies. Male bees emerge from their nests in cold weather, and the queen sometimes kills other queens for domination.
Although bees play an important role in pollination and the environment, care must be taken to ensure that hives are not near your home, as they can be bitten.
